On hold since June, wait is over for Danish iPhone fans Die-hard fans of the Apple iPhone waited up to 26 hours in line to make sure they were among the first in the country to get their hands on...
A total of four stores in Denmark opened their doors at midnight last night to begin selling the iPhone G4. The iPhone G4 was released in major markets on 24 June, and the Danish launch last night coincided with the release of the phone in an additional 16 countries.
The earliest of a handful of early birds waiting outside the Telia store on Amagertorv Square in Copenhagen were two young men, Mads and Mike, both of Frederikssund. They said they officially began their wait at Wednesday night at 10pm.
Mobile telephone operators here have received only a limited number of iPhone G4s and are unable to guarantee availability.
